Desiree Baird

Culinary Lead

Raised in Colorado, Desiree was often found in her family’s kitchen, trying new ingredients and testing new recipes. Her curiosity soon developed into a passion and she enrolled at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in the heart of the California wine country. Several years later, with an associate degree in Culinary Arts, an internship at the well-known Willows Inn on Lummi Island, and a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Science, Desiree ventured to Southern Oregon to join the team at DANCIN Vineyards. Here, she seeks to develop a food philosophy that focuses on artistic presentations of heartfelt food made from the fresh bounty of local growers and artisans.
